Many people have been injured in a stampede at the Maha Kumbh Mahotsav of India, as thousands of people gathered on the banks of the Ganges for a deferred program as the world’s largest religious program.
The festival already closed in the month, the organizers said they expect about 400 million people, which more than the US population, to land on the northern city of Prayagraj between January to 26 February.
