Three top officials of the Trump administration are going to Europe this week, with security and in Russia Ukraine, they are expected to be in the heart of discussion.
President Donald Trump has questioned US security commitments in Europe, urging colleagues to increase their defense spending.
His administration has so far been quiet on his plans to help Ukraine to help the future.
Under the former President Joe Biden, Washington gave tens of billion dollars of Kiev in military aid.
Vice President JD Vance is set to attend the AI Summit in France and then attend the Munich Security Conference in Germany. He is to join the state secretary Marco Rubio, who later wants to be prominent to the Middle East.
The White House said, “The Vice President wants to comment in every incident and will hold bilateral meetings with world leaders.”
Meanwhile, Pentagon head Pete Hegseth has to visit two US military command headquarters in Germany.
He is expected to attend a meeting of NATO defense ministers and Ukraine’s International Supporters in Belgium before going to Poland to interact with his leaders.
A regular Rubio at the Munich Conference in his previous role as an American senator, has already visited Latin America as the state secretary. However, this week looks at Vance and Hegseth makes his debut on the international stage.
