Officials said two private jets collided on Monday in the south -western US state of Arizona of the Scotsdale Airport, killing at least one person and injuring others.
According to the US Aviation Administration, “A Learjet 35A dropped the runway after landing and fell into a Gulfstream 200 business jet at the ramp at Scotsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona.
According to Captain Dave Folio of the Scotsdale Fire Department, at least four people were injured in the accident.
The FAA said that the number of people on the collision jet was unknown.

Folio said that two of the injured were taken to the trauma centers and one person who is stable was taken to a hospital.
He said that one of the passengers got stuck in one of the jets, saying that “we are doing everything we can remove and to save a soul that is still on the board.”
The reason for the closure of the aircraft has not been confirmed yet. The FAA said it was investigating the cause behind the accident.
“FAA is temporarily stopping flights at the airport,” the administration, which started an investigation in the collision, said.
Scotsdale Airport Phoenix is often a popular center for jets, especially during large sports events.
The accident in Scotsdale combines a range of major aircraft accidents in the US over the last two weeks. In late January, a passenger collided with the US Army Black Hawk Helicopter in Jet Washington, DC Midyar, killing 67 people. A few days later, a medical jet crashed in Philadelphia, killing seven people and last week, a plane crashed in Alaska, killing 10 people.
