The German police said that on Friday, they arrested an 18 -year -old Russian man on suspicion of planning a “politically motor motor” attack in Berlin, two days before the national elections.
The man was expanded late Thursday in the state of Brandenburg, who surrounds Berlin, police and prosecutors said in a statement.
Officials did not give much information about the plot of the attack, but daily Mirror The newspaper reported that there was a suspected checch and is believed to have planned to attack the Israeli embassy.
The Israeli Embassy could not be reached for comments out of commercial hours, while the state prosecutors and the Russian embassy did not immediately respond to the written requests for comment from the Reuters.
German newspaper Picture On Friday, the investigation reported a tip-off results from a focus intelligence agency. It said that the suspect was trying to leave the country about Berlin’s airport when he was wide.
Officials said the riot police and expert officers were involved in arresting, who came after that tip-off.
He said, “Any further details in the form of backgrounds and motifs can be given to protect the investigation at the moment,” he said.
The person appeared in court on Friday and was sent to custody.
German officials are on high alert before Sunday’s federal elections.
