Former FIFA chairman Joseph Blatter and French football legend Mitchell Platini returned to court in Switzerland on Monday as they face a return on allegations of crazy, forgery and misuse.
This is the second time the pair stood in a trial related to the repayment of the blatter to former UEFA chief Platini.
The 88-year-old Blaater-manner is known as Sepp-SAID, he was “very confident” to be another acquitted.
“When people talk about forgery and lies and Frau, it is not me – it’s not me in my life,” the blatter told the court.
Why does FIFA mard re -case revival?
In 2022, the pairing was cheated more than paying 2 million Swiss Frank (€ 2.1 million or $ 2.2 million).
He claimed that delayed payment in 2011 was for consultancy work in the 1990s.
At that time the Swiss federal court gave him the benefit of doubt. But the federal prosecutors of the country appealed against the original decision.
“I still do not understand why the Public Prosecutor’s office is raising on me,” the three -time Ballon D’Or winner, who was the President of the UEFA from 2007 to 2015, said at the beginning of his court hearing on Monday.
When the case was opened in 2015, both the Blaater and Platini career in the Sports Administration ended.
It finally crushed the hopes of the Suk Peding Blaater to Platini, who left the post after leading FIFA for almost two decades after a separate corruption scam in 2015.
