Washington: Tahwwur Rana has appealed to the Supreme Court of America not to extradited India. Rana has demanded “Emergency Stay”. Rana has said in his application that he can be “tortured” if he is sent to India. He is Muslim and is of Pakistani origin, so he is more in danger. Citing the 2023 report of Human Rights Watch, he said that the Government of India discriminates against minorities, especially Muslims. He said that the Government of India has become “autocratic” and there is every possibility of torturing them there. His health is also bad. He is suffering from diseases like 3.5 cm Abdominal Enurism, Parkinson’s and cancer. If the US Supreme Court rejects his appeal, he will be sent to India.
