SPIEGEL author Sylvie Gühmann published a song on the ballerina in a contribution on SPIEGEL ONLINE from April 15th. This is the “probably the worst shoe of everyone”. Some fashion parts, Gühmann writes, just didn’t deserve to be in the spotlight again. Not only on Instagram, but also in the Hamburg subway, the flats recently met her again, but also on the feet of young women.
The author is completely right, because Ballerinas is certainly one of the highlights in addition to sneakers and sandals in the summer that has just come close. Gühmann does not leave anything good at the delicate footwear: Hardly any orthopedic abnormally shaped feet can cover up more worse than the ballerina: “Over time, there is no longer in the shoe, but in complete self -abandonment next to the sole. Nothing exposes orthopedic flaw faster than these banana shells.” And then every pebble stone can be felt through the leaf leaf thin sole.
It is true that the ballerina is not exactly suitable for tours on stony slopes. And you have to see if the shoe type fits the foot shape. In terms of variety, the shoe manufacturers have come up with a lot for the F/S 2025 and H/W 2025/26. There has never been such a large variety of ballerina styles. And with regard to comfort, the shoes can offer a lot, even if you just enclose your foot. The Sacchetto-Charter ensures maximum flexibility. A rock’n’roll rubizug prevents the shoe from gliding off the heel. And despite the thin sole, padding is possible inside.
Gühmann admits that she had all trends in her youngsters, from the side parting to Röhrenjeans to the fragrance Vanilla Kisses from impulses. It can be assumed that there were also ballerinas – and the journalist wants to refrain from these shoes, probably also because of her demanding feet. After all, she recommends Mary-Janes with a tender strap over the foot tension.
