In order to meet the needs in Thailand, income certificate will have to be given
Thailand has made it mandatory to submit proof of income from applicants for tourist visas. Explain that under this, any person coming on tourist visas will have to show that they have enough funds to meet their needs during the holiday in the country. Applicants will have to provide evidence that they have at least 20,000 Thai talk (about 550 US dollars). The details of a three -month bank statement will be acceptable for this. Digital arrival card (TDAC) introduced
The Thailand Digital arrival card (TDAC) has also been implemented from May 1, 2025 under the new change in visa rules. After its implementation, any non-tailed citizen traveling to Thailand by air, land or sea route will have to fill TDAC electronically three days before his arrival.
Traditional Form TM6 arrival card has been replaced by this digital form, for which passengers will have to submit their information about passports, arrangements for their travel and stay and health conditions. The TDA card helps accelerate immigration processes with improvement in safety.
The number of days living without visa may decrease
Thailand is doing a 60-day visa-free stay for tourists to 30 days amidst concerns of visa abuses. Currently, citizens of 93 countries including India are allowed to stay without a visa for a maximum of 60 days. This policy can be amended due to some tourists staying for a long time and being involved in illegal activities.
Travelers coming to Thailand should ensure that they fulfill the new terms of the visa. The new terms include prominently fulfilling TDAC and submitting proof of income. If a tourist is found violating these rules, then it can be stopped from entry in the country.
