Mumbai Local Train Accident: There has been a major train accident in the country’s financial capital Mumbai. Railway officials have told on Monday (June 9) that many passengers have died after falling from Mumbai’s local train. Sources said that on Monday, 5 passengers are feared to be killed when Mumbra-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Fast Local Train fell on the railway track in Mumbai on Monday. However, the Railways has not yet confirmed the deaths. According to preliminary information, 10 to 12 passengers have been reported to fall in the accident. The reason for this accident is considered to be more crowded than capacity in the train.
According to Indian Railways, people fell from the compartment due to excessive congestion inside the train. According to the report, passengers were traveling by hanging at the door due to overcrowding. Railway officials have reached the spot. The injured have been taken to the nearest hospital. The investigation of the incident is going on. According to officials, at least 10 to 12 passengers have fallen from the train. According to PTI, six passengers were injured in the accident.
It is being told that the train was so full that the passengers were traveling by hanging on the door. Meanwhile, this accident happened. Central Railway said in a statement, “Some passengers going towards CSMT at Thane’s Mumbra railway station fell from the train. The reason for the accident is considered to be a huge crowd in the train. Railway administration and police have reached the spot. The injured are immediately being taken to the nearby hospital. The investigation of the accident has started. The incident has also affected local services.”

It is feared that the incident occurred due to a huge crowd, as many passengers were hanging near the train door while traveling. CPRO Swapnil Dhanraj Neela of Central Railway on the Mumbra railway accident said, “We have seen that many times the passengers travel near the footboard or train doors even when they are in place. The guards of the Kasara to the Kasara’s local train gave the first information that 6 passengers were lying on the spot on the down-through track. When the ambulance reached the spot, it was found that there were 8 passengers.
