New Delhi: The weather has just put a brake on the historic journey up to the space station for Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and three other astronauts. NASA, Spacex and Axiom Space are holding breaths with this mission. The Spacex rocket flying from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida will now wait till June 11. Both Nasa and Spacex are in full preparation. But finally the final decision rests on the mood of nature. The next 24-48 hours are going to be very important for Shubhanshu Shukla and India. The world’s eyes are now on the sky of Florida.

Technical flaws and weather poured obstacle

At a joint press conference of NASA and Spacex, Vice President of Spacex William Garstenmeyer said that some technical flaws came out during the recent ‘Static Fire Test’ in Falcon-9 rocket. One of these major flaws was found in the form of ‘Lux Leak’, which was seen in the entry phase of the booster during the previous mission but was not repaired properly.

Spacex Engineers are currently trying to fix this leak completely. Garstonmeyer said, “If this leaks continue till the launch day, it will be controlled with a special ‘parj’ system.”

Apart from this, there was also a disturbance in the thrust vector control system of the engine 5 of the rocket, which has now been changed. He said, ‘We will complete all the work by Tuesday night and will be ready for launch on Wednesday.’
