The AnwR Kinderhilfe EV continues to be specifically committed to educational and social projects in the region around Mainhausen. Two schools are currently benefiting from the support of the non -profit association: in Babenhausen a “quiet break” for elementary school students was established, the DAZ program for children of non -German origin language with materials was equipped in Seligenstadt.
An alternative break has been offered once a week at the school in the church garden in Babenhausen since the beginning of the school year 2024/2025. Children are given the opportunity to calm down with breathing exercises, fantasy trips or relaxation techniques. Teacher Johanna Münzenmayer, who initiated the project, observes positive effects: “It is nice how grateful the children perceive this offer. I hope that they will also take these opportunities for self -regulation into their everyday life.”
In addition, topics such as coping with stress and body awareness are taught child -friendly. This is also made possible by the AnwR Kinderhilfe donation in kind: mats, floor pillows and ceilings form the necessary equipment for a rest island in everyday school life.
A second project in Seligenstadt benefits from the support of the AnwR Kinderhilfe: At the Merian School, the DAZ program (German as a second language) was equipped with urgently needed school materials. The materials help children and young people from intensive classes to get started with the German school system. Birgit Dutine, co -initiator of the project “Being new is not easy”, explains: “The donations are an immense help. They enable us to start a good start to every child.”
Thomas Weil, Board of Directors of the Kinderhilfe, is also convinced of the benefits of both measures: “Education is the key to a successful future.” The AnwR Kinderhilfe wants to support children in their personal development, so we continue.
Since 1980, the association AnwR Kinderhilfe eV has been committed to children and adolescents. All donations flow into projects without deductions that are not promoted by state or charities. The association work is completely voluntary.
