On the evening of June 12 in Delhi, a box of train number 64419 (NZM-GZB EMU) going from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Ghaziabad derailed. The accident occurred near Shivaji Bridge on the down main line at 4.10 pm. It is reported that the fourth box of the train derailed. Northern Railway says that repair work is going on. There is no casualties or injured in this incident.

Air India plane was crashed in the afternoon
June 12 has proved to be the day of accidents for the country. Earlier, an Air India plane going to London in the afternoon crashed in Meghani Nagar area near the airport after a few moments of flying from Ahmedabad Airport. It had 242 people, including 10 members of the crew. All 242 people are reported dead in the accident. Air India flight AI171 with Boeing 787-8 aircraft left for London Gatwick at 1.38 pm and crashed in a few moments. Passengers consisted of 169 Indian citizens, 53 British citizens, 1 Canadian citizens and 7 Portuguese citizens.
