British royal navy f-35b: On June 14, the F-35B fighter aircraft of the British Royal Navy had emergency landing at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in Kerala. The reports have revealed that the jet has been standing there since the landing. According to reports, India had offered the British technical team to take Jet to the airport hanger to help repair the fighter jet, but the Royal Navy turned it down. The Indian Defense Research Wing (IDRW) reported that India’s offer was not accepted by the Royal Navy. After this, the Indian Air Force suggested the aircraft and ground crew to create a temporary shed on the spot to save them from rain and heat, but the offer was also allegedly rejected.

The incident occurred when the aircraft was on a regular flight outside the Indian airspace and there was a technical fault, after which it was landed at the southern airport of India.
Aircraft was taken to the Emergency Medical Center after landing under a precautionary protocol. He has been held at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Limited (TIAL). A local ground handling team was also arranged at the request of the Royal Navy. The Indian Air Force tracked the jet and approved for landing through its IACCS radar network. The IAF is assisting the UK team to enable the aircraft to fly again.
Fighter jet repair continues
The emergency landing of the fighter aircraft was safely made and had already been reported. According to the information, there is a malfunction in the aircraft’s hydraulic system, which has not yet been corrected. This is the reason why the fighter jet has been standing at the airport for about six days. According to the news agency PTI, the aircraft carrier’s technicians arrived to start testing and repair soon after the incident. Six of them returned to the ship on Tuesday afternoon, while three personnel, including the pilot, are staying in Thiruvananthapuram to monitor the repair.
