The US attacked Iran’s furdos, Natanj and Isfahan nuclear bases with B-2 bombers. President Trump described it as success. Iran fired missiles on Israel in retaliation.

American bombers have dropped heavy bombs at Iran’s nuclear bases.
The US on Sunday launched historic airstrikes on three Iran’s nuclear bases, Natanj and Isfahan. These attacks have been carried out from B-2 Spirit Stealth Bombers. These fighter jets flew 37 hours of non-stop and entered the airspace of Iran. According to the New York Times, these aircraft, which flew from the Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, filled the air several times and used 12 GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) bombs as well as 30 Tomahawk cruise missiles. This was the first time the US used the GBU-57 bunker Buster bomb in the war.
The attack and execution of the attack was extremely complex. The B-2 bombers are the only aircraft capable of carrying a GBU-57 bomb weighing 13,600 kg. These aircraft covered a distance of more than 7,000 miles. These aircraft used their stealth technology to dodge Russia -made Iranian air defense systems. Each B-2 carried two GBU-57 bombs and two bunker buster bombs were dropped on Natanj. Apart from this, US Navy submarines fired 30 Tomahawk missiles on Natanj and Isfahan.
Attack on Israel’s request
The attack took place at the request of Israel. In April, Israel demanded bunker buster bombs from the US to destroy Fordo. Israel attacked the Iranian nuclear and military bases at its campaign Operation Rising Lion starting from June 13, killing more than 400 people.
Before the attack, the B-2 bombers were sent to Guam’s Anderson Air Force Base, which was a sign of the possibility of the attack. In a 37 -hour flight, fuel was filled several times, as the aircraft could not fly with full fuel tank due to heavy bombs. This was a great performance of long distance and stealth capacity of Mission B-2.
Oil prices rose 10% after the attack and there was instability in global markets. India appealed for restraint, as it is dependent on the Gulf region for its energy needs. The International Nuclear Energy Agency (IAEA) warned that the attack on Fords was threatened by radiological leakage, although no major threats were yet to be seen. Iran has retaliated against this attack. He has again fired missiles in Israel.
