Two appointments have been announced for the new Twodays: From 19 to 21 July and from 23 to August 25, 2025 – each in new central locations in Düsseldorf, the Rheinterrasse and the KAP1. “We not only changed the name with the new format, but also the location. It was right to do that,” said Managing Director Ulrike Kähler on June 23.
With the farewell to the left bank of the Rhine Böhler, which, according to Kähler was “not without tears”, the IGEDO reacts to structural market changes – and to the feedback in the industry. There were always voices that the Böhler area was lying to decentralized.
Twodays sees itself as a flexible platform with two centrally located fairs: the Rhine terrace as a “heart with an inspiring ambience” and the KAP1, where the Igedo has rented two floors. Both locations are within walking distance from Kaiserswerther Straße, partner hotels are in the immediate vicinity. In addition, a shuttle service was set up to enable the visit of all events during the Düsseldorf Fashion Day.
Although there has always been the desire for a comprehensive industry event, this is not yet realistic, according to Kähler: The demands in the industry are too heterogeneous. Against this background, the concept of Twodays is deliberately open to providers from the segments shoes, fashion and accessories. Each exhibitor could choose the appointment that seems optimal to him.
A modular stand construction concept is also accompanied by the new concept. Basic services such as electricity, WLAN and basic cleaning are included. A equipment package with collection rods or shelves can be booked optionally. The new “Brand Spotlight” concept was particularly emphasized: a reduced presence area (4–6 sqm) without product presentation-intended for image maintenance and brand staging. In addition, the Igedo exhibitors invite you to participate in a fashion show as part of the Düsseldorf Fashion Days on July 19. The organizer also offers accompanying marketing tools and communication support for exhibitors.
For the new concept, the IGEDO Exhibitions wishes to support support from the market: “Frequency, visibility and range only arise if many participate in an event and commit themselves,” says Kähler. “Believe what we are doing,” the IGEDO managing director appealed and invited to actively participate in the new format.
