Rajnath singh at sco summit: Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, while targeting Pakistan on Thursday (June 26), said that the culprits of terrorism and terrorists should be held accountable. He also said that double standards should not be adopted in dealing with it. In his address at a conference in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Singh said that some countries are using terrorism across the border as policy means to shelter terrorists. During this, he also discussed India’s counter -attacks under Pahalgam terror attack and ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Rajnath Singh said that the method of Pahalgam terror attack was like the previous terrorist attacks of Lashkar-e-Taiba in India. He said that the SCO should not hesitate to criticize countries adopting double norms in dealing with terrorism. Singh said that some countries use cross -border terrorism as policy means and give shelter to terrorists.
“The biggest challenges in our region are related to peace, security and lack of trust in our region,” he said. Singh said, “And the root cause of these problems is increasing bigotry, extremism and terrorism.” Singh said that peace, prosperity and terrorism cannot go on. He said that peace cannot be maintained even with handing over weapons of collective destruction in the hands of elements and terrorist groups.
The Defense Minister said, “Decisional action is required to deal with these challenges and we have to fight against these evils for our collective security.” The Defense Minister said that for his narrow and selfish objectives, those who sponsored terrorism, nurtured and use will have to bear the consequences.

Singh said that the SCO should not hesitate to criticize countries adopting double standards in dealing with this threat. Singh also said that the method of Pahalgam terror attack was like the previous terrorist attacks of Lashkar-e-Taiba in India.

He said that India is adopting a policy of not tolerating terrorism at all. The Defense Minister also said that India was adamant on its policy in support of peace, security and stability in Afghanistan. Singh reached the port city of Kingdao on Wednesday to attend the SCO’s conference of Defense Ministers.
