The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme launched to help the farmers has become a great hope of crores of farmers of the country today. Small and marginal farmers who work hard in farming often struggle with the crisis of money. In such a situation, the Central Government has made arrangements to transfer assistance of ₹ 6,000 directly to the bank account every year to provide relief to them. The first installment started from Gorakhpur
On 24 February 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent the first installment of this scheme from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh to the accounts of farmers. Since then, farmers have received 19 installments. Now the eyes of all the farmers are on the 20th installment, which is expected to come in the second quarter of 2025.

Three installments are given every year under PM Kisan Yojana-in April-Juli, August-November and December-March. In such a situation, it is estimated that the 20th installment can be released by the end of June 2025. At the same time, farmers can get the 21st installment by October 2025.
How to know the status from Aadhaar or mobile number,

- First of all go to PM Kisan website.
- Click on the Know Your Registration Number in the “Farmers Corner” section.
- Now enter the Aadhaar number or mobile number and click on Get Mobile OTP by filling the captcha code.
- You will see your registration number as soon as you enter OTP.
How to see the list of beneficiaries?
If you want to know which farmer is getting the benefit of the scheme in your village or district, then for this:
- Go to the “Farmers Corner” of PM Kisan portal and click on Beneficiary List.
- Now select your state, district, sub-district, block and gram panchayat.
- The list will show the names of the beneficiaries, their father’s name and installments.
Check status with registration number
If you have a registration number, you can know the status of your installment directly:
- Click on the Know Your Status option on the website.
- Enter the registration number and captcha.
- Get Data As soon as you click on, your installment position will come on the screen.
How much money has been given so far,
The government has spent more than ₹ 75,000 crore on this scheme so far, and crores of farmers have benefited from it. This scheme was started with the aim of providing regular income to farmers across the country, which has become the backbone of rural India today.
