Officials said at least two people were killed on Sunday after a suspected shooting at the fire brunt, setting fire near the city of Koir Dill in Idaho.
The Kutnai County Sheriff Office said the firefiger was posted at Blaze at Canfield Mountain at around 1:30 pm local time (19:30 GMT).
Sheriff said that the police, which responded to the incident, was “still taking sniper fire” on Sunday afternoon.
The office of Sheriff in neighboring Soson County said that the police was “dealing with an active shooter situation where the shooter is still on a large scale.”
In a post on X, Idaho Governor Brad Little stated that “multiple” firefighters were attacked.
