In the investigation of Air India flight AI 171 in Ahmedabad, security agencies are no longer rejecting the possibility of any possible conspiracy. According to intelligence sources, the two engines in Air India’s Dreamliner aircraft are a very unusual phenomenon, due to which the investigation is being taken more seriously. Intelligence sources said that the real process of investigation will begin only when the data of the black box of the aircraft would be decoded. Only then can it be decided whether there was a technical flaw or a conspiracy.
The CNN-NEWS18 report puts light on different angles being considered during the investigation of the possibility of conspiracy by intelligence agencies. Let’s look at
Head of the investigation of Air Indian Crash: Angle:
Fuel supply disturbances
Security agencies are investigating whether the fuel supply system of the aircraft was tampered with. The role of fuel storage, supplier and ground staff is being investigated in depth at Ahmedabad Airport.
Maintenance and internal conspiracy
Records related to the aircraft maintenance, backgrounds of engineers and tracking of equipment are being checked. The agencies suspect that no one deliberately left any flaw from inside.
Cyber attack or software tampering
The possibility of a possible cyber attack in modern aircraft like Dreamliner 787-8 is also not being avoided. Investigators are conducting cyber forensic checks of engine control systems and flight software.
Burglary or inner collusion in airport safety
The activities of the airport’s CCTV footage, biometric logs and staff are being investigated to find out whether an unknown person has reached the aircraft or not.
Role of targeted passenger or cargo
Agencies believe that this attack may also be carried out by targeting a particular passenger or cargo. Information of all passengers and goods is under investigation.
Role of foreign elements or proxy agent
Because the aircraft was carrying passengers from India and Britain, agencies are also investigating the role of any foreign enemy strength or terrorist organization.
Air Traffic Control (ATC) or runway tampering
Prospectives such as GPS jamming, fake signal or wrong instructions from ATC are also not being rejected.
274 killed in accident, only one alive survived
Air India flight AI 171, going to London on June 12, fell in the residential area of BJ Medical College, Meghaninagar, a few minutes after flying from Ahmedabad. The aircraft had 242 people, out of which only one passenger survived, while 9 people on the ground were also killed in the accident. After the accident, a fierce fire broke out in the aircraft, which also led to difficulties in relief work.
Ministry of Civil Aviation confirms confirmation
Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Muralidhar Moho confirmed that the possibility of conspiracy in the accident was being checked prominently. Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is conducting a detailed investigation into the entire case.
