Exile deal with Berlin Taliban – DW – 07/03/2025

German internal minister Alexander Dobindt has called for a direct compromise with the Taliban to get the Afghan migrants exempted from Germany.

In August 2021, the Taliban took over the Afghanistan government after NATO’s return. Since then, there were no official diplomatic relations with the Taliban government of Germany, which she did not consider valid.
