The German Federal Network Agency received around 23,000 complaints in the first half of this year – 13% at the same time of the previous year, a record. About 90% of the complaints belong to the market leader Dutash Post / DHL.
By 2022, people in Germany were largely happy with their mail service, but then jobs were cut, prices increased and complaints started.
The damaged parcel, the mail was transported to the wrong house – or not at all – and there is disastrous delay – to increase the blood pressure of the country.
Consumers complain about incredible postal services
Patrick Grone told the German Public Broadcaster, “For months, this drip, drip., Drip. First, anything, then nothing, then nothing. And then anything will reach and then nothing. Nothing. It was not the real good,” Patrick Grone told the German Public Broadcaster to the German Public Broadcaster. Ard,
Hey ordered some living lady larvae to fight the problem of staining the plants of his home. But four weeks later, when the much awaited package finally came, the larvae were all dead.
They found a replacement batch – final. Then, no larvae were alive.
Another case that is widely reported in the German media includes an eighty-two-year-old woman who tried to get an ultra-fast delivery on the North Sea Island, where she was holidaying. Instead of receiving a mobile phone, which she had forgotten at home the next day, finally this six working day changed later.
Job cut, work status, professional
Germany’s Services Area Association Ver.Di and Communication Activists Association are blaming the DPVKOM ongoing restructuring and trimmed waves.
And those people are not expected to end at any time soon. In March, Duthe Post announced that it would cut 8,000 jobs by the end of the year to save a trillion euro ($ 1.17 BN). Last year, the turnover rose to € 84.2 billion, but the operating profit increased to € 5.9 billion.
DHL Delivey workers are often so refracted for time that they leave parcels for the entire apartment block, with neighboring or first floor flats.
The company is eager to reduce the problem. It states that the number of complaints in relation to the letters and the amount of letters transported by the Duthe Post and DHL is small: more than twelve billion letters and 1.8 billion parcels in 2024.
“In a company with 187,000 employees and about 50 million items per day, the mistakes can never be completely rejected,” a spokesman told a public broadcaster. ArdNevertheless, the company is curious to emphasize that implementing the quality is stable.
But at the same time complaints with Infrastructure Watchdog, Bnetza, Deutsche Post did some 420,000 logs last year.
Climate change and false expectations
Deutha Post blamed the recent heatwaves this year’s specific crises – which required workds – and union walkouts about job cuts. Morovar, it has been said that not all customers know about recent changes in postal laws.
Thesis means that the company can now take the letter to three working days. As of January 1, 2025, they were still obliged to give 80 percent by the next working day.
So perhaps it’s all about expectations? Certainly, if things go on in this way, Germany’s Duthe Post and DHL are the record for the worst child, defeating a total of 44.406 complaints in 2024.
