German Christmas Market attacker jerks to victims with letters – DW – 07/31/2025

A 50 -year -old Saudi Arabia man who had rubbed a rented SUV in a crowd in a Christmas market in Magadeberg last December, created a shock among the escape by writing individual letters to at least five of them.

The attack in the Saxony-Enahault state killed a six-year-old six-year-old child and injured 323 more.

The culprits, Taleb A, are said to have been handed over letters who personally addressed the victims by name and had the thesis to their homes.

Why was allowed to send a letter?

When we approached the office of Saxony-Enahalt state prosecutor by Public Broadcaster MDR, they were told that there was no way to keep the criminal from contacting the victims, saying that the remaining people opened letters on their own discrimination.

Officials say they are uncertain how Taleb A came to learn the name and addresses, but suspects that they were copied with documents in the possession of their defense lawyers.
