Regarding Russia and India, Trump wrote, ‘I don’t care what India does with Russia. They can take their dead economies into the trough together, I don’t mind. ‘ In this post, he also threatened Medvedev. He wrote, ‘Russia’s unsuccessful former President Medvedev, who still considers himself the President, asks him to pay attention to his words. They are entering a very dangerous area. This statement came in response to Medvedev’s statement on July 28, in which he described Trump’s attitude towards Russia as ‘every step towards war’. Now Medvedev has retaliated on Trump’s statement.
Medvedev reminded ‘Dead Hand’
Former Russian President Medvedev, while making fun of Trump’s warning, replied, “If I am so scared of my words, it means that Russia is in the right direction.” On describing the economy of India and Russia as dead, he reminded Trump that shows like ‘Walking Dead’ are not just entertainment, and America should beware of ‘Dead Hand’. Russia had an automatic nuclear reaction system of dead hand cold war. That is, if Russia is transformed into an atomic attack, then the dead hand will automatically launch nuclear missiles.
Iran also came in support of India
On the other hand, the Trump administration has banned 6 Indian companies related to Iranian petrochemical trade. These include companies from Mumbai, Surat and Gujarat. According to the US State Department, these companies continued to buy Iranian products between January 2024 and January 2025, allegedly violating US sanctions. Iran, while making a statement on this, said, ‘Such restrictions on sovereign countries are part of the US pressure policy, which aims to prevent the progress of independent countries. This pressure on countries like Iran and India is condemnable. Iran described this attitude of America as ‘modern economic imperialism’ and appealed to the Global South to combat it.
