Highlights
- Trump strongly advocated the tariff policy.
- If there is no tariff, the American economy will be ‘dead’.
- Hearing on tariff continues in US Federal Court.
A few hours before the ongoing hearing in the US court, Trump wrote on Truth Social, if our country cannot save itself through tariff, we will end. We will neither have a chance of survival nor success. His statement is directly related to the court case in which the American Federal Court is hearing about 10% tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. Earlier, a three -judge bench of the US Court of International Trade rejected these tariffs, saying that the President could not be given the power to arbitrarily under the International Emergency Economic Power Act.
Limit will be fixed
If the court gives a verdict against Trump, then it will not only shock his economic thinking, but will also set the limit of the rights of the President in future. Although there is a possibility of appeal in the Supreme Court, but there too the decision will come in their favor, it is not decided.
How big shock
Now the question is whether Trump’s warning is only a political gimmick or do they really consider the American economy as ‘dead’ without tariff policy? However, it is so clear that in the name of tariff, Trump has once again tried to put his hand on the pulse of America and that too when the court is ready to shake her hand.
