Trump imposed 25% extra tariff on India, will be applicable from August 27, Indo-America relationship will be immersed in stubborn abyss

American Rashtrapati Donald Trump has imposed 25 percent of the extra -tariff on India. This will be different from the 25 percent tariff imposed earlier. In this way, India will now have 50 percent tariff. Trump has also signed that order and this order will be applicable from August 27. The Trump administration says that India continued the purchase of crude oil from Russia despite American warnings, it is against our spirit. After all, Trump has added it to his national security. He says that India’s oil from Russia is like finance of Russia for war.

Trump signed this order at a time when there were only 14 hours left for his already announced tariff to be implemented. After this order, a total tax will have to be paid on most of the goods sent from India to America. The first tariff will come into effect from August 7, while this new 25% tax will be applicable after 21 days i.e. 27 August 2025. However, some items will be released from this, such as the goods which have been loaded on the ship before the order is issued and is in the way of America. It has also been clarified in the order that this new tariff will be in addition to any tax or fee. However, if there is already a separate arrangement under an old American law, then this new tariff will not be applicable there.
