Alaska Tsunami: In Alaska, a landslide in the Tracy Arm before the meeting of Putin and Trump in Alaska caused a tsunami. The earthquake expert Michael West said that the waves were 100 feet high. Three sailors reported the incident.

The incident was discovered when three sailors woke up to his camp on Harbor Island due to the waves. Sasha Calve told that he and the other two people were camping at the Harbor Island of Tracy Arm Inlet. Which is a focus in about 72 km south of Juno. The foured is the long narrow sea route between the steep rocks. He further said that when the tide came due to landslides, half of his goods were washed away, including a boat, personal things and cooking equipment.

Mountain debris fell into water
The tent of sailors was far away from the tide line. His small boats were in different places. On a rock, on a tree and a boat was in the sea. He told that water was left some distance away from his tents. He said that the crisis on the radio was reported, which was caught by a boat and he again sent it to the city of Juno. Alaska earthquake expert Michael West was informed. West said that the seismometer (earthquake measuring devices) of North America were shaken by this phenomenon. According to him, it seems as if the ‘a part of the mountain’ fell into the water, causing the tsunami waves and the water level increased. He estimated that millions of or crores of cubic meters of rocks and debris fell below the mountain.

The high wave arose from the mountain breaking.
100 feet high waves arose
The phenomenon occurred at the end of the Tracy Arm, where the South Sawyer Glacier meets the sea. It gave birth to a huge tsunami. West told Alaska Public, ‘We are talking about a rock that was as big as many football grounds.’ One of the sailors, Nick Helgest, took a picture after rescue, in which all the vegetation was submerged in water on an island of fould, except a single tree. West says that based on photographs, the tsunami waves near the source were ‘at least 100 feet high’.
