US State Ministry spokesman Tami Bruce made this statement at a press conference on Wednesday. His comment came when he was questioned about nuclear threats against India during the recent visit to Pakistan’s Army Chief Aseem Munir. Bruce said, ‘There has been no change in our relationship with India and Pakistan. We are committed to working together with both countries. Apart from this, he again reiterated the claim, according to which the US stopped India-Pakistan tension.
Talking with Pakistan
He said, ‘We have had an experience with Pakistan and India. A struggle that could take a very frightening form, we stopped it. At that time, Vice President JD Vance, President Donald Trump and External Affairs Minister Marco Rubio took immediate steps to reduce tension. We controlled the situation by bringing both sides together through phone calls. There is a proud moment for us that we postponed a big danger. Bruce also said that in the US-Pakistan anti-terrorism talks held in Islamabad on Tuesday, the two countries committed to work against terrorism. Ironically, see that Pakistan with which America is talking about terrorism, got his biggest enemy Osama bin Laden here.
Demand for ban on Munir
However, Pakistan’s Army Chief General Aseem Munir has been making anti -India statements continuously. Now he did the same by going to America. Former Pentagon analyst Michael Rubin described it as ‘completely unacceptable’ and compared them to the statements of ISIS and Osama bin Laden. Rubin suggests that the status of Pakistan’s non-NATO aide should be taken away and an American visa should be banned on infinite Munir.
