Shots heard near the mosque, 2 injured – DW – 08/15/2025

On Friday, two people were reported injured after gunshots near a mosque in Swedish city of Orebro.

Confirming the injuries, the local police said they had started an investigation into the murder of the murder.

“We are talking to eye witnesses,” a police spokesperson told the AFP news agency, saying that the officials were searching for “criminals or criminals”.

Swedish media reported that one of the injured people was shot while leaving the mosque, where Friday prayers were being held.

There was no immediate information about the seriousness of the injuries, but the police and emergency services were on the spot.
