According to media reports, the United States has canceled trade talks with India, which was scheduled to take place between August 25 and August 29 in New Delhi.
The Indo-American talks for a trade deal, which was a bee since February, has been stopped, the Indian newspaper The Indian Express on Sunday cited the case citing sources.
According to Indian news channel NDTV, the upcoming round of talks, which took place in the last week of August, will now be the hero on the later date.
India is subject to the highest American Tafs
Bilateral talks on trade are important for India, as the US has imposed 50% tariff on Indian goods – the highest in any country at any country.
Indian traders have already started paying 25% taif; However, the remaining 25% tariff is going to be implemented from August 27.
Delay in conversation gives a blow to Indian manufacturers, who were expecting some relief before the remaining tariff on Indian goods.
Tension between India and the United States increased, earlier this month, US President Donald Trump announced additional punitive 25% on Indian goods, citing India’s import of Russian oil.
So far, India and the United States have a five -round conversation, resulting in a deadlock over disagreement to open India’s huge farm and dairy areas and stop procurement of Russian oil.
