With this, the total tariff on India will reach 50%, which will be applicable from the end of this month. In response to this, Russia defended India and warned Washington to desist from ‘illegal threats’.

As soon as the deadline of the tariff approached, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi reached New Delhi and Indian Foreign Minister S.K. Meeting Jaishankar. Wang said that India and China should further strengthen cooperation between ‘increasing pressure and threats’.
