In the test there were shoes from Geweo, Merdoo, Dockers, Saguaro, Koel, Hobibear, Pulltop and Groundies. The price sites of the models range between 33 and 127 euros. The shoes were also evaluated by the orthopedic surgeon and trauma surgeon Dr. Onays al-Sadi. He basically considers barefoot shoes to be a good choice because the muscles are more demanded when wearing these shoes. And: “Coordinative skills are addressed much better in the barefoot shoes because the receptors work much more.”

Silvia and Patricia acted as testers: they found their shoes lightly and flexible and appreciated the room for the toes. The thin and flexible sole was also perceived as advantageous because it offers “more grip”. You can feel the floor in a pleasant way.
The gait analysis showed that the foot in the barefoot shoe rolls more natural. However, the feet have to get used to barefoot shoes. At the beginning, the testers found the models of Dockers and Pulltop to be “a bit exhausting” on various substrates such as stones and pine cones at the beginning.
