Josef Seibel announces his comeback to the trade fair

Romika, Gerry Weber and Westland were to be marketed together under the Josef Seibel umbrella brand. This was the announcement made by the Rhineland-Palatinate company last year. A decision that was worth it, according to Andreas Garnier, Head of Sales: “The consolidation has made working with our existing customers much easier. Processes and agreements have been accelerated and more efficient, the One Brand strategy offers our stationary retail partners orientation, at the POS and beyond.” The focus on the Josef Seibel brand was also a focus on the core of the 138-year-old brand, and positive results confirm this.

After the move last year, there were also changes in the company in 2024: In September, Sylvia Klemens joined Josef Seibel and supplemented the management alongside Franziska and Carl-August Seibel as managing director for the areas of procurement, product development, production and B2B operations. She moved from the Schwanheim manufacturer Waldläufer, where she was responsible for development and sales.

Also in 2024, Josef Seibel announced the connection to the ECC tool Elvis. “The significant simplification of reordering enables more efficient collaboration with our stationary trading partners – with a positive effect on sales and the close and personal exchange, which is essential, fundamentally, but more valuable than ever in times like these,” says Sylvia Klemens.

Trade fair comeback and new product line

Josef Seibel has already announced his trade fair comeback for the coming year: from February 2nd to 4th, the brand will be exhibiting at Shoes in Düsseldorf as a start to the sales season. “Here, existing and potential customers can get an on-site impression of how exclusive product offers and the optimized presentation of goods at the POS contribute to the visibility of the brand,” says the company.

Josef Seibel is also introducing a new product line: With “Spirit of Nature”, the brand is launching barefoot shoes for men and women made from sustainable raw materials. “Extremely soft, flexible and with a natural foot shape, they offer plenty of toe freedom and comfort. The flat rubber-latex sole ensures a real barefoot feeling, complemented by a removable footbed and a distinctive design,” the company continued.

“Our retailers can also look forward to a diverse collection this FW25,” concludes Alexander Laubersheimer, Head of Product Management. “We are really looking forward to presenting them at Shoes Düsseldorf from February 2nd to 4th and talking to them.”
