The US Geological Survey states that a 6.2-distance earthquake shaken West and North Venezuela on Wednesday.

There was no immediate report of any casualties or serious damage.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of about 24 kilometers (15 mi) to 7.8 kilometers (4.8 mi) from Grande.
At a distance of some 600 km west of Karakas, Maine is an oil city in a popular populated area of Grande Zulia state.
Venezuela is the country’s largest proven crude oil reserve, as approximate as around 303 barrels by 2023-2024, as compared to other countries significantly discovered as Saudi Arabia, Iran and Canada.
