Christie NoM, secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), confirmed on Wednesday that there was a shooting in Dallas in a immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) facility.
Officials said two people were killed and another person was injured.
Joseph Rothrocrock, a special agent of the Dallas Field Office of the FBI, told reporters in a news briefing that the attacks as the attack “Act of Targeted Violence”.
“Initial evidence that we have seen from the round, found with suspicious shooter have messages that are opposed to ice in nature,” Rotharrock said.

ICE is a federal agency that has been tasked with implementing immigration laws. The agency is involved in the arrest and exile of unspecified people.
