Zelenskyy: Ukraine receives Patriot system from Israel
Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelanski announced on Saturday that his army had received the US-made Patriot Anti-aarcraft system from Israel, and was already in operation for a month.
He said that Kiev would be getting two more Patriot launchers in this autumn, but it was not specific as to where he was coming from.
The move was seen as a surprise to some extent. Ukraine has voted in favor of the United Nations resolutions to end Israeli’s occupation of some of the Palestinian areas.
While the Israeli government under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent some humanitarian aid to Ukraine at the beginning of the struggle, Netanyahu refused to prosecute Western sanctions against Russia.
In addition, it confirmed the regional integrity of Ukraine at the United Nations resolution with Russia against Ukraine.
Recently, however, Netanyahu’s government has removed itself from Moscow as Russia pursues close ties with Iran.
