Denmark on Sunday ordered a ban on civil drone flights, as several unmanned air vehicles looked at military facilities overnight, after a week, in which drone sorters caused temporary closure of several airports in the Nordic country.
The Danish army stated that it had deployed “many capabilities” in response to an overnight drone.
Earlier this week, Drone forced Denmark to close its airports including Copenhagen Airport, which was closed for about four hours on Monday.
Denmark called the drone a part of the “hybrid attack”, but the government has reduced from saying who believes is behind the mission.
Nevertheless, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederricasen has said that Russia is the main “country which is a threat to European security.”
“We are currently in a difficult security situation, and we should ensure the best possible work for the armed forces and police responsible for security during the European Union Summit,” Defense Minister Trolls Lund Paulsen said in a statement on Sunday on Sunday. “
When the drone should be banned and why?
Civilian drones want to be banned from Danish airspace from Monday to Monday through the coming weeks.
