Heavy rains, follow the floods Typhoon Bullo – DW – 09/30/2025

Heavy rains started the floods on Tuesday, with school shutdown and transport limited, two days after the deadliest storm of the year, made a landfall in the coastal nation.

The environment ministry said that the toll of death had increased to four, 26, one and 22 were still missing and roughly injured 100 people.

The National Weather Agency warned of flash floods and landslides after Typhoon Buloi, stating that in the last 24 hours, there was an increase in 300 mm (rough 12 inches) in rain in several AES.

Transport, school interrupted in north

Vietnam Airlines canceled or re -determined several flights at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi for the safety of passengers.

The carrier of the country’s flag said, “The weather conditions in Hanoi are developing in a complex manner with a complex rain that affects visibility and operation.”

Vietnam Railway Corp suspended most of its trains between Hanoi and Business Hub Ho Chi Minh City.

The capital Hanoi floods after the torrential rains

The state media on Monday laid images of several flooded roads in Hanoi and knit cars and motorbikes after coming to the city and thunderstorms.

The resident reported inability to reach their offices on flood houses and roads. A resident on Tuesday called the city a “big pool” as a “big pool”, it was the worst flood in the capital since 2008.

Social media images showed military trucks, carrying children from a school in the west of the capital through floods, appealing to parents for equal help in the north of the city.

“This is just water everywhere,” a mother wrote.
