‘Trumpist’ Set to win Winning Win-DW-10/04/2025

As voters in the Czech Republic wrapped the second day of voting in the country’s parliamentary elections, a familiar face is ready to return to power.

The Early Return Project that billionaire former Prime Minister Andrez Babis’s right-wing populist party ANO, a self-known “Trumpist” who opposes the ongoing military aid for Ukraine, will win, win 35.5% votes.

The ano translates into “yes”, but therefore abbreviated to the action of dissatisfied citizens.

The Center is on the track to get 22.4% of the votes, led by Prime Minister Petra Fiala, the Center.

Earlier on Saturday, Liberal Conservative Block, Steyn, which votes about 10%, supports so much with many others.

Observers are afraid that ANO’s victory in the Chamber of Deputy Vote may face trouble for Ukraine. The Czech Republic has been a firm partner for Kyiv under Fiala.

Saturday’s results can further tip the balance of power within the European Union, with the Czech Republic capacity, the Trukulant Hungary and Slovakia may be involved in opposition to Brussels. Hungary and Slovakia have rejected Ukraine’s military aid and slipped the European Union sanctions against Russia.

Babis described him as a “peacock” and promised “check” approach to leadership during the campaign.

Talking to reporters after voting in the eastern city of Ostrava, Babis said, “Nothing is certain, we have not won yet.”

Fiala, while voting in the Brono, clarified the stakes of the election, saying that the voters are “deciding the direction of the Czech Republic … whether we go to the pasture, what is our path to the east or west.”

What happens if Babis and AO do not win a lump sum majority?

Although ANO is clearly at the top, it is unlikely to win an absolute majority, which means that Babis will be forced to form an alliance.

A potential partner will see far-flung freedom and direct democracy (SPD) party, which will vote at about 12% on Saturday.

Observers say that SPD has spent more than all other parties on online advertisements. It is therefore alleged to use Tikkok accounts “systematically supporters support the opposing system through Russian publicity and manipulation engagement.”

As a result, the European Commission on Thursday called the “emergency meeting” with the operators of Tiktok, making “many bots” from the platform in terms of the check elections. ,

Elections were closed at 2 pm (1200 GMT) with check media that voters gymnastics were high on Friday.

The results are expected to be declared on Saturday evening.
