Donald Trump Tariff News: US President Donald Trump has burst another tariff bomb. Donald Trump has now announced that a new tariff will be implemented on foreign trucks in America. According to Trump, all medium and heavy trucks, which will come from other countries in the US, will be charged. According to the new order, 25% tariffs will be imposed on trucks. This will be applicable from 1 November 2025.

The US President said last month that new fees will be implemented from 1 October 2025 on imports of heavy trucks. According to data from the US Department of Commerce, in 2024, the US imported 2,45,764 medium and heavy trucks, most of which were from Canada ($ 4.5 billion) and Mexico ($ 15.6 billion). Their price was around 20.1 billion dollars.
