Cologne must have believed they had a chance to become the first team to beat Bayern Munich this season when Ragnar Ache’s 31st-minute header put the hosts ahead in a DFB Pokal match.
However, two goals from Harry Kane – who scored either side of half-time – gave Bayern a 4–1 victory, their 14th consecutive win in all competitions as they set a new European record.
For Kane, the brace was the latest reminder of his astonishing consistency. Just two years after arriving in Munich, the 32-year-old is maintaining the best form of his entire career.
According to Transfermarkt, as of October 30, 2025, the numbers behind the Englishman’s remarkable success in Germany are as follows:
107 —The number of goals he has scored in 110 competitive games for Bayern. Robert Lewandowski remains the fastest Bayern player to reach 100 goals, achieving it in just 82 games.
74 – He has scored only 71 goals in his Bundesliga starts. For what it’s worth, Kane scored ‘only’ 59 goals for Tottenham in his first 100 Premier League matches.
18 – Kane has mastered the art of the penalty by scoring 18 consecutive in the league for Bayern – a new Bundesliga record.
22 – The striker has already scored in 14 appearances in all competitions in the 2025-26 season.
10 – The number of hat-tricks Kane has scored for Bayern since joining in August 2023.
20 – Since signing for Bayern two years ago, Kane has played against many different teams in the Bundesliga. He has scored a goal against every opponent he has faced so far.
8 – The number of Bundesliga clubs who have currently scored fewer than Kane’s 12 league goals this season.
