Snipes is expanding in France and Portugal

Snipes is taking over 15 locations of French sneaker retailer Courir in France and six locations in Portugal. The takeover has been completed following an examination by the French competition authority and the European Commission. The Snipes door count in France increases to 51. There are now 12 Snipes locations in Portugal. In France, Snipes recently cooperated with Paris Saint-Germain to increase awareness in the country. “With the integration of the new stores, we are continuing our global growth strategy,” says Dennis Schröder, CEO of Snipes. “France is one of the most important markets in Europe for us. By taking over the Courir stores there and in Portugal, we are expanding our presence and strengthening our connection to local communities.” Snipes announced that he would like to take over the existing Courir employees and is currently in negotiations. The stores will operate under the Snipes banner in order to seamlessly integrate the branches into the existing concept.

The acquired Courir stores are located in the following cities: Nice, Dijon, Rouen, Antibes, Cannes, Arras, Auxerre, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Mont-Saint-Aignan, Barentin, Quetigny, Noyelles-Godault and Tourville-la- Rivière, Lisbon, Faro, Amadora, Coimbra, Vila Lova de Gaia and Porto.
