The CPA Shoefactory is used at Engelbert Strauss’ CI-Factory logistics location in Schlüchtern, Hesse. The partnership started at the end of 2022 to set up the processes. Before that, the processes in the CI factory were based heavily on paper and Excel tables. “We wanted an ERP application with which we could systemically map our processes and therefore chose the CPA Shoefactory. The consultants at CPA know the processes in the shoe industry really well. This shoe know-how has flowed into the CPA Shoefactory, which in turn means we benefit optimally,” says Tamara Reuß, Process Manager at Engelbert Strauss.
The CPA Shoefactory has now been implemented with the Supplier Portal and Machine Planning modules. “We have already seen significant benefits in terms of efficiency, transparency and cost reduction. This created a solid basis for the partnership on which both companies can continue to grow,” summarizes Jörg Spiegelhoff, Managing Director of CPA Softwareconsult. As an ERP solution, it supports the entire process chain for goods and value streams from development to sales. The Supplier Portal also offers a platform for order processing between manufacturers and suppliers, Machine Planning improves the planning and control processes of sole injection machines and thereby improves resource utilization.
CPA is an IT service company from Langenfeld and was owned 50.1% by Ara and 49.9% by Rieker until 2023. In May 2023, Rieker took over the company completely.
