MP News: A shameful news has come out from Madhya Pradesh. In Indore district, on Tuesday (September 10) late night, miscreants attacked two young army officers and their two female friends who were enjoying a picnic. The miscreants raped one of the women forcefully. Officials said that both the army officers had gone for a picnic with their two female friends on Tuesday. According to the report, the miscreants gang-raped the woman at gunpoint. They also held an officer hostage and demanded a ransom of Rs 10 lakh. By the time the police reached the spot, all the accused had fled.
Badgonda police station in-charge Lokendra Singh Hirore told PTI that the two officers aged 23 and 24 were undergoing training under the Young Officers Syllabus at the ‘Infantry School’ in Mhow cantonment town. Hirore said that around 2 am on Tuesday night, seven unidentified miscreants reached the picnic spot on the Mhow-Mandleshwar road. They started beating an officer and women sitting in the car.
The station in-charge said that the other officer was away from the car. He somehow informed his senior officers about the incident after which the police reached the spot. He said that on seeing the police, the miscreants fled from the spot.
Hirore said that all the four victims were brought to Mhow Civil Hospital at around 6.30 am for medical examination. According to the doctors, there were marks of injuries on the bodies of the officers. He said that the medical examination revealed that the miscreants had raped a woman.
Indore Rural SP Hitika Vasal told reporters, “A case has been registered under sections related to robbery, dacoity, rape and the Arms Act (BNS).” Vasal said personnel from four police stations have launched a search for the miscreants.

The officer said that the victim girl has not yet recorded her statement. The remaining six miscreants have been identified. SP Vasal, Additional SP Rupesh Dwivedi and other officers have launched a search operation in Manpur to catch them till the report is filed.
