Authorities in the northern French city of Bully-les-Mines say the driver of a high-speed TGV train died Tuesday morning in a crash with a loaded semi at a street-level crossing.
A large contingent of emergency services and technical staff was immediately dispatched to the scene.
It is being told that the truck was carrying military equipment and the authorities have taken its driver into custody.
