New Delhi. In the last one year, India has noticed several times that America has commented on India’s democracy and the grip of law on opposition leaders. Despite several attempts, the American government did not desist from this. In such a situation, when Dr. S. Jaishankar met with the American Foreign Minister in Washington DC on Tuesday, he washed Antony Blinken off with complete decency. On a journalist’s question, he said in the presence of Blinken that even if India makes any comment on America’s democracy, they should not feel bad. During this, Blinken was seen merely smiling.
Actually, what happened was that a journalist asked a question about America’s comment on Indian democracy. On this, Dr S Jaishankar said, ‘Foreign interference is foreign interference, no matter who does it and where it happens. So, this is a difficult topic and my view, which I have shared with many people, is that you have every right to comment, but I have every right to comment on your comment. So you shouldn’t feel bad when I do this.

When we comment, it should not become a foreign interference…
Jaishankar said that the global nature of the world has blurred the line between domestic and international politics. He stressed that global issues can be discussed in a democracy, but mutual respect must be maintained. Jaishankar stressed, “It cannot be that one democracy has the right to comment on another and this is part of promoting democracy at the global level, but when others do so, it becomes foreign interference. “

The Indian Foreign Minister made it clear that foreign interference is unacceptable, no matter which country is behind it. He acknowledged that America has long shaped international politics through its foreign policy.
