Bitcoin (BTC), the digital currency created by Satoshi Nakamoto, touched $85,000 per unit on some exchanges.
So far this is its most recent all-time high, as can be seen in the following graph, which shows the price of BTC on the Bitstamp exchange:
In the medium and long term, bullish expectations continue. Bernstein analysts, for example, suggest that BTC could reach $90,000 in the coming weeks and $200,000 next year.
Despite this, there could be some drop in price. As CriptoNoticias has reported, the RSI indicator shows that bitcoin is in an overbought zone.
A slight bearish correction would be healthy for BTC to continue its upward trend in the long term.
