Trump imposed a temporary 10% tariff in February under national emergency legislation, shortly after the Supreme Court also struck down double-digit tariffs the president had imposed on most countries around the world through 2025.
In a 2-1 decision, a panel of judges of the U.S. Court of International Trade found that the administration lacked justification for imposing the tariffs under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974.
