Two US fighter planes collided in mid-air during an airshow near Mountain Home Air Force Base in the state of Idaho on Sunday.
A spokesman said the crash occurred during the Gunfighter Skies air show two miles (3.2 kilometers) from the U.S. Air Force base.

Mountain Home Air Force Base, about 50 miles south of Boise, the state capital, said on social media that the area was locked down.

Videos posted on social media show four parachutes opening as the planes fall to the ground after impact.
Air show organizers said four crew members ejected safely.
