France’s Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin is set to visit Algeria on Monday amid a diplomatic thaw to discuss improving judicial cooperation, including the fate of detained French sports journalist Christophe Gleizes, who was arrested in 2024 for “glorifying terrorism”.
