
Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame is in Paris with President Emmanuel Macron for the inauguration of a new memorial site dedicated to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsis. More than one million Tutsis were killed over a period of just over 100 days. France at the time, was accused of complicity in the genocide because of its ties with the then Rwandan government.
